Soft tug - hardened shell melts away

"Sometimes you just can't help it. Despite everything, you feel its soft tug and that hardened shell you're so certain has been mastered just melts away."

This was the beginning of an article on spring training but it caught my eye and heart as I read it. That's the way I felt when I knew I had been spoken to by the Holy Spirit and I needed to go to the altar.

We need to strive daily to be more like our Master, in our deaalings with others---including our husband or wife, children, grandchildren, friends, etc.
We need a soft loving touch in working with a person that we hope to see come to the foot of the cross and accept our precious Saviour.
