"I think its a lie to say that the president lied."
The Democrats have now taken it upon themselves to rewrite history, as irresponsible as that is, and to say that Pres Bush manipulated intelligence in order to get us into the Iraqi War.
Former Pres Clinton stood up and made a big speech this week and said that all of Sadams cabinent wasnt all that bad, they were just trying to make the best out of a bad thing. Maybe he was talking about Chemical Ali or the other thugs that enjoyed killing masses of innocent people.
Its so funny that people have completely forgotten the pages of pages and pages of Democrats who stood up and urged everyone on to enter this war, that Saddam must be stopped. If they say it, its ok, but let Bush say the same thing and its a lie. Hillary wanted to go into Iraq, so did her husband and he approved some bombing as well. So did Ted Kennedy want to go into this war, and so did John Kerry and his understudy who ran for office with him. They saw the very same intelligence that Bush saw and every other Congressman.
Now, the Democrats want us to surrender right on the eve of Iraqi elections. So why dont we, then the insurgents can come in and take over and they will be right back where we started before the war. That makes a LOT of military sense now doesnt it? And be sure and tell the emeny when we are leaving so they know the coast is clear.
I wonder how many of our soldiers who have died would roll over in their grave if they heard all this nonsense. I wonder how many live soldiers hear this and are demorlaized and want to give up.
The facts are that more than 2500 schools have been renovated or received repairs since we have been there. USAID is training 100,000 Primary and Secondary teachers throughout the country.
Under Sadam Only one in six Iraqi school children had textbooks. USAID has printed and distributed 8.7 million Revised Math and Science textbooks.
The number of Iraqi firms that employ women has grown since last years survey. In late 2004, 43% of firms employed women, now the number is 63%.
1000 Iraqi army soldiers are participating in Operation Steel Curtain, an offensive to rid the syrian border area of havens for terrorists, particularly members of Al Qaeda in Iraq.
The numbers of great things that have happened and are happening in Iraq have NOT been told by the media. You have no idea of the good changes that have been made in Iraq, as it is NOT reported.
All the Democrats and the media want to do is run this war down and the Pres who started it, even when all of them said the very same things that he did. They are irresponsible, weak kneed, yellow bellies, and they wave the white flag of surrender to the terrorists, who sit back right now and laugh and laugh at the trouble they are causing in this USA. Yep, they have won! They have stirred the pot and got it to boiling, which is just one way they wanted to get back at that President Bush who is the great infidel leader of all those infidels.
I wonder how all those mothers feel who lost a son or daughter in this war? They died for an unjust war, in an unjust place, and for absolutely nothing. So sad to lose a child, but so sadder yet to feel as though they died for nothing.

Sorry to question your veracity, Bob, but I don't believe you wonder any such thing. If you did, you'd AT LEAST consider what Cindy Sheehan has to say. But since she doesn't parrot the GOP party line and wrap herself in the flag, you don't really care what she has to say.

And it's McCain, not McKain.
