Couldn't sleep, so I thought I would explore our new software. I clicked the views link and saw one of my posts (the parody) has the highest number of views--793. What does that mean?

It means you had a header that attracted a lot of attention!

But you don't have a record. On the theology forum, there are threads that have 1460 and 1290 views

Now of course, the interesting thing is the significance.

For instance, at that same theology forum, there is a thread titled "Hell" that has 584 views, while a thread titled "Heaven" has only 148. Should we come to the conclusion that more folks are interested in hell than in heaven? :basic03

Also, I think the counters here are not for individual posts but for threads. Everytime a new message is added and a person returns to the thread to read that message it adds to the counter.

It means that you are a good writer and that your thread was interesting. I think I have read it two or three times. So, there! You have a fan! :)

It means that you should write more on NazNet! It means that you have good insights into human nature and human behavior. It is interesting how we can analyse personalities from the way a person posts at NazNet.

Over the years I have learned that people really are consistent and their characters and personalities do come through in their participation at NazNet.

It's amazing how much this internet cyber family is like a real live social group of people in the real world.

I don't think my observations of personalities answers why your post is read a lot, but, I thought I would just add it anyway! Hmmmmm probably showing something in my personality.

You do good! You can make us think! I do love to read Marsha's interaction with you. She is a bright, knowlegable young lady that has so much good insight into things. She is a wonderful writer, too.

Michael,
Do you have a record? Only you and your parole officer know for sure....

Carolyn, thanks for the kind words! You are an encourager, and you already know I have the highest respect for you.

It is interesting to notice posters' personalities eventually come though, as you noted. And, yes, I also appreciate Marsha's writings. You and her have the knack for touching the heart.

Have a good Thanksgiving. Oh, I am still hoping to come to Texas. Not sure, though.

Do you have a record player?

I bought one at an estate sale for three bucks, so that I can listen to an album Michael's rock group produced back in the day. Now we have to find some speakers.

Barb and Wanda, you both have given me a smile.
