I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong. My wife just found this and I thought it was interesting.

I'm just trying to keep from getting into an argument with anyone. Wheather it is global warming, evolution, theology or which car is the best, you have to ask a lot of questions yourself. Many times people get a theory and then look for data to support their theory and ignore data that doesn't. This is a favorite way for people who want to intentionaly mislead other people. Others collect data and develop a theory from all the data collected.
In the first case, people may have an agenda or they may just have bad logic. The second case has better logic but even than, sometimes one doesn't have all of the data. Someone can be very sincere and be mistaken.
So, we have to do as much research as we can, ask a lot of questions and listen to all of the opinions. Then we can come up with our own opinion based on knowledge we have collected.
In the mean time, yes we do need to stop polluting and abusing the earth. I have nothing against that. My wife just found this on the National Geographic web site because she goes there a lot. I thought I would post it simply as more data.

So how did Bush and those arrogant Republicans get all that carbon emission stuff transported to Mars without the stupid Democrats knowing about it?
I guess Bush has been talking about it all along. "Weapons of Mars Destruction". I knew he was telling the truth.

That being the case, you were probably a little apprehensive when you saw I had responded. I've been known to "engage" over this topic. :basic04

Actually, it was quite interesting. I liked the approach because in this one article they presented a theory and opposition to the theory. Normally, all you ever read are articles that are extremely one-sided in one direction or the other.
The idea is too new for me to either accept or reject it. However, I sincerely hope he is wrong! My logic: If he's right, we are headed toward an ice age and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. If he's wrong, we are causing global warming and we can fix it.

If we can do that to Mars, then perhaps our climate change is actually the result of Mercurians covertly terraforming Earth to make it more hospitable for them to colonize. Here we are wasting time on cutting pollution, when we should be figuring out a way to take out Mercury!

We'll just let Cheney take care of that. He needs a new assignment. And he's already got a gun.

In my very humble opinion he needs anything BUT an assignment.

Why is it that everything has to right or wrong. There could be a wide middle ground. I think it is the Planet Venus that is causing the problems and trying to blame it on Mars, Mercury and Republican Earthlings. In reality it could even be that it is just Al Gore wanting everyone else to save energy so he can heat his swimming pool.

Well we know who is from Mars and who is from Venus.

How on earth did we clog up the works enuf to cause global warming on Mars?
Could it be that the same global warming on Mars is related to the global warming we are experiencing? both caused by the same thing but not that our globe is causing Mars to warm up.
