Those of you who have struggled to read through my meaningless writing well know that writing is not my strong point. I took all of the mathematics I could and stayed away from composition classes or any class that might require inordinate amounts of writing.

In retrospect after 69 years I wish I had started writing in a journal in grade school as my wife's students did.

A friend of mine has a collection of journals he has kept from the low grades of grade school and he still writes in his journals - he is now about 65. He wrote to me recently telling me he had been reading his journals and had found where we had played an instrumental duet at a Children's Convalescent Home. That would have been about 50 years ago!!

My sister writes a letter to God each morning. This way she can return to visit the matters in her life at an earlier time.

Writing is becoming more and more a part of our society.

PLEASE encourage your grandchildren and children to write more.

An old grandpa will thank you.

This was prompted by reading in NAZNET and realizing the talent for writing. I may not agree with their writing but they speak clearly.

Paul,
Every teacher in Naznet thanks you for your public service announcement. did you remember that you played that duet?

Yes, I did remember. I so much enjoyed playing duets, etc even though I was not all that talented. Playing for the kids at the Hospital was an extra kick.
