Father Patrick Rohen currently an Army chaplain will be featured on the program Homeward Bound on EWTN (The Catholic Channel) tonight at 8:00. He will be discussing the roles of Chaplains in the millitary and his own experiences.
Father Rohen and I went to high school together and remain close friends today. I was honored to speak at his ordination celebration when he entered the priesthood.
He spent nearly a year in South Korea and it has impacted his life tremendously not all for the good.
Pat grew up in the catholic church, but for a time became a protestant, graduating from Moody Bible Institute. He returned to the Catholic church when his family began to reject him and he realized that the only way he would be able to minister to those he cared for most was from the Catholic perspective.
