FOR DIRECTIONS:

this message.
MAPS:

PHOTO SUGGESTIONS:
When taking photos in Antelope Slot Canyon, do not use flash, do not get the
sky in the photo as it will wash out the colors.
For best results, use a tripod with cameras that have adjustable settings
and use slow speed film of 100 or 200 ASA Kodak Royal Gold for prints and 50
ASA Fuji Velvia for slides.
For hand held cameras - with or without adjustable settings -- use 400, 800
or 1000 ASA print film. Point and shoot cameras may not work as well in the
canyon since you can't change the settings.
TIME DIFFERENCE:
Arizona, which includes Page, does not change time during Daylights Savings.
We stay on Mountain Standard Time (MST**). However, the Navajo Reservation
within Arizona does change as their reservation extends into Utah and New
Mexico. During the summer months (from the first Sunday in April to the last
Sunday in October) Arizona has the same time as Pacific Time. All tours go
on Arizona time.
Example: 10 a.m. in Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and on Navajoland is only 9
a.m. in Arizona, Nevada and California.
The following are directions on how to get to the Overland Canyon Tours
office from your motel, Super 8.
Turn right out of the motel parking lot and continue to the stop sign. Turn
left onto N. Navajo Drive. At the traffic light up on the right corner is
Circle K. Directly behind Circle K is the Overland Canyon Tours office.
Public parking is available across the street in the Dam Plaza.
You'll want to meet at the office about 20 minutes prior to departure time.
We recommend you bring a water bottle and snacks with you and dress in
layers as it is cooler inside the canyon.
Keep in mind Arizona DOES NOT observe Daylight Savings Time, so check your
watches to make sure you're on the same time we are.
Remember your camera and have a great trip!
Please let me know if I can help you with any questions or concerns. I look
forward to hearing from you.
