Everytime I come to this board I see the post entitled "Warning from Scott" right at the top.

While I really appreciated the "heads up" at the time, I dislike seeing the word "warning" everytime I open up this board.

I think it is important for the women who contribute to know that there may be men reading. But could we change the title now that most of us have probably read it?

I agree Miss Barbara. I didn't care if men saw/read posts. The "warning" makes me more uncomfortable. Though, as you, I do appreciate the "heads up".

It might be good to remind the participants that there are no guarantees that no man will know what is on that forum. If a couple shares a computer then either of them can view or even post to the forum.

Of course, beyond that, any woman on the forum can copy, paste, etc. from it and pass thing said on via email, etc..

The nature of the Internet is that things posted are not confidential.

I am afraid that saying W2W is limited to women only may give a false sense of security.

just keeping it online until i can redo it.

i don't mind.thanks for letting me know it was bothering you.

i am at work and can't do much.

let me know what you want to entitle it as.

thanks

How about "FYI From the Moderator"

Miss Barb: That is a great idea. It makes this board available, friendlier and less sterile. Or is this my imagination.

Thanks for the suggestion - and glad it seems available, friendlier and less sterile.

:)
