Is it possible to sort the members' list alphabetically by last name?

I don't think so. So far as the software is concerned, they are just user names with spaces in them.

Well, then we should register as Ross, Michael B. and Deventer, Hans. But i have to admit that does sound rather formal.

Wow, I am impressed with NazNet service. I get a response from two moderators in less than 10 minutes. Maybe its because I am a member of the Platinum Express NazNet Club due to posting over 100 times in 12 months.
Seriously, guys. Thanks. A few times I have looked for names but had difficulty because of variations of first name listings. Example G. R. aka Scott Cundiff. :basic02
Hans and Scott: Have a good week and weekend.

You'll like this level of service even better then! Now that I know what you want...
Click on Members List
On the right side, near the top, click on the "Search" link
Type in Scott
You will get every user name that includes "Scott" in it.
Tada!

Thanks, Scott! I tried it, and it is exactly what I needed. No wonder NazNet received the Gold Ribbon award for excellence in service among all denominationally oriented forums and message boards.

From whom ... or is this just your own personal "Gold Ribbon award," eh, Michael? ;)
