It was pretty obvious that Ohio State was not "on" their game today...and it almost cost them. They made way too many errors, with fumbles and penalties. I had only one issue with the officials...and that was the Unsportsmanlike Contact (Celebration) call. It just didn't happen. Oh well. I can't complain.
....Well, yes I can complain. I'll complain that Penn State didn't compy with my wishes to lose to Michigan State. Oh well.
You are right...it was a good game with both teams playing hard...as evidenced by the amount of injuries on the field. Those guys had to be hitting like Mack trucks. Glad I wasn't out there.
Cindi H. who really can't stand Penn St. and can't wait for Paterno to retire!

I and my wife both agreed with you, Cindi, on that Unsportsmanlike Contact (Celebration) call. We felt he HAD to "fly" into the end zone to assure he'd make it - for there were at the time (as I recall) 2 - maybe 3 - UofM defenders closing in.
That was a typical UofM vs. Buckeye game - tight until the very end - as it should be.
You can throw the season's record out the window when they meet for the records and national ratings means nothing - both teams zero in on that game like none other, thus the great rivalry.
At approximately 5:00 pm yesterday I brought my UofM flag in for the final time this season.
Pardon me while I shed a tear or two.

But Cindi, I'm holding off on what I wished for on the Penn State game until the BCS invites go out. There's a very good chance that the Bucks will get the at-large bid putting two Big-10 teams in the big bowls. Besides it wasn't for the Rose Bowl anyway so if they get a BCS bid does it really matter if it as Big 10 champ or at-large?
Keeping the Big (I keep typing Bib!) 10 status up helps OSU in the long run. And frankly, I don't think if Penn State had lost, they would have had as big a chance as OSU for the at-large bid.
Now if OSU doesn't get that bid .....
