I've been using AVG for perhaps a year and like it fine, EXCEPT I want to change the time it does it's automatic "check for updates and download" (not the correct term, I know) plus the scanning of my computer.

At present it performs those tasks beginning at 8:00 a.m. every morning. I'd much rather prefer 10 pm when I'm in my jams.

Okay NazNetters. Do you have the FREE (that's important) edition and if so do you know how to reset the times of those tasks?

(Please don't guess, okay?)

thanx

If you open the AVG Test Center there's a button marked Scheduler. You can adjust the times that AVG runs.

I'm just not finding my way how to do that. Can anyone please give me step-by-step instructions?

Please see attachments to follow.

On your last screen shot you can see the button on the bottom marked "Edit schedule".

That's where you should be able to change the time it runs.

I've looked at that a kazillion times - by actual count! - and never seen that option.

Got it all set now so thank you Jon!
