As far as I know, regretfully, you won't be able to increase resolution. If the photo were available to you, you could try scanning it at a higher resolution.

a person that is good with Adobe Photoshop could really improve the quality of the picture. I've seen some great restore jobs at school.

The resolution is now 300 dpi.

I hope someone can do a better job for you but if this helps then great.

Email me the 300 dpi version and I'll see what I can do. I can definitely make it better.

Edited to say, Oh duh! I read the above post wrong but I can still improve the picture no matter what the resolution is.

Nelson, look on the Wesley board. I posted your picture there. I have trouble posting here.

I've been experimenting with it. I've sent Nelson several versions of it. That canvas texture makes it hard to work with.

'Sounds like that "now" indicates it's been changed. Please do tell us how you did it, Ian! Thanks!

You have to have that option in your photo editing software. I can do it but it usually doesn't help the picture. If you have a picture that is a low resolution, there is no way you can add detail that isn't in the original.

Hi Gina,

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements which came free with my PC.

Click IMAGE; Click IMAGE SIZE and you can change the resolution.

The best idea is to scan the picture in at the highest resolution possible.

Hope that helps
