Roland and I are trying to get a website up that will serve the dual purpose of making it easier for interested people to follow my battle with cancer and donate to my medical expenses if they feel so inclined, while simultaneously using that battle to illustrate the things we believe God is teaching us about finding our identity, our worth, our security and our peace in Him rather than in our circumstances.

I came to Australia to help plant a church where secular or anti-church people encounter a God of transforming love. Whether by my life or by my death, I'd still like to be able to do that. We think the website can be one avenue for pursuing that purpose.

We have the domain name and a host for it. We "just" need someone to create the actual website for us and then leave it set up where we can continually upload revised content to it. Our IT guy here in Brisbane has his hands way overloaded at the moment and says it will probably be two weeks before he can get to it. He expects it to be about a two-day job to get it like Roland envisions it.

Since time is of the essence on the medical expense front, we'd like to get the site operational quicker than that if possible.

If anyone out there is willing to donate the time now to create the website for us, let Roland or me know and he'll get with you on the details of what we're looking for. And we will of course, be eternally grateful. If I survive, I'll owe you a piece of my life, whatever that's worth. Whether or not God delivers me from the cancer, you'll be playing a part in our efforts to draw people into a relationship with God in which love is not just an airy-fairy ideal, but the hardest substance known to man, the most real, the most powerful thing in God's redemptive arsenal.

Love and Thanks,
Brad

Brad, just in case my email gets lost out there in cyberspace somewhere, I am replying here to say that I am glad to help if I can and if you don't get a better offer from one of the very capable people here on NazNet.

Scott, that would be great. Roland will be out of town tomorrow, but he's very eager to get started. I'll have him contact you at his earliest possible opportunity. I don't think it'll really feature anything trickier than a PayPal button and the capacity to let us continually upload updated text and maybe photos to it.

Thank you so much.

Love,
Brad

Scott,
I should be able to discuss things with you in a little more depth sometime over the next 24 hours but probably not before the next 12-15.

Scott and Brad,

Post the link here so I can add it to our Church web site here in Canada when you get it up and running.

The more that have this link, the most hits it will create and cause the search engines to notice.

Brad and Roland, I have a ministry that I use for such occasions, I would be glad to post your link on my site as well.

In case, you need still a helper, please let ne know - also once it means only to do a very little job - like a graphic, an animation or what ever.

Carsten,

Thanks so much for the offer. As far as I know, Scott's got it under control. If he needs help, or if we want something more after he shows us his first draft and we think we're presuming on his generosity, I'll give you a holler.

Thanks again.
