I finally got around to uploading the NazNet Logo so that those who want to can order "official" NazNet merchandise. The merchandise is offered for sale by Cafepress with the official NazNet logo.

Any problems with the merchandise are the responsibility of Cafepress.

If you don't like the way that I have positioned the Logo on the various items, you can order exactly the same product from CafePress with the logo positioned as you prefer. The cost will be the same.

The link for the NazNet store is http://www.cafepress.com/naznet

Let me know if you have suggestions.

Dave,

Any chance of getting the coffee mugs added to the linked page? I'd probably only get a t-shirt if I were going to General Assembly or some other fairly large NazNet gathering, but I'd love to have a mug with the NazNet logo. I see that I can download the logo to my own computer and then upload it to them to get one custom-made, but I'm betting that would actually be a much more popular item than the magnets and buttons if it were on the CafePress NazNet "home page".

I will be glad to add them. In fact, I thought I did. I ordered a couple of NazNet mugs myself.

Too funny -- I about fell out of my chair when I saw the stein (mug) as an option. It sure would make a good root beer float. :)

I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice the stein. Congratulations for being observant. I have stiens from two of our Nazarene schools.

Thanks Dave -- a large coffee mug has been ordered. :fav18

I don't think I have ever had a $17 coffee mug before -- I'm sure that the coffee will taste especially good being that it comes from such a quality mug!

Somehow I can't get the link to "Housewares" to work for me, which is where I assume the drinking ware would be...can someone send me a direct link to it or something?

Mike,

Try pasting the link into safari or firefox. When I click the link in Dave's post I only see what you see. When I paste the link, I see a lot more stuff like coffee mugs.

I have no idea why the browsers work this way.

Well, for the first day the mugs seem to be the most popular item. Several have ordered.

In case anyone wonders about the way this works. The owner of the NazNet Store (me) can set the prices at anything I want. I have elected to set the prices at exactly what CafePress charges -- no markup. NazNet.Com will benefit from your purchases only by the positive publicity we will get when you show our logo.

Incidentally, Nate Swartzlander gets the first NazNet Golf Shirt. That is his prize for suggesting the NazNet Logo. Sometimes it takes me a while to follow through, but eventially I do.

My NazNet Shop Order was here when I came back from New York. I am pleased. I think the logo looks good. My favorite is the "natural" tee shirt that has the pocket logo as well as the logo on the back. I suspect that I will wear it often.

Something else I like is the "NazNet Tile." I keep a glass of ice water on my desk most of the time. The NazNet Tile makes a great coaster.

The golf shirt is ok, but not great.

The coffee mugs are good. I ordered a couple of them. I will order some more.

Anyway, I am pleased with my order and am wearing my NazNet hiking shirt now.

Now that I have had a few days to use my NazNet merchandise, I am pleased with the stuff I bought:

NazNet Mugs -- I don't drink coffee, but if I did I would drink it in my NazNet Mug. At this point they are sitting in the kitchen to draw comments from those who see them.

NazNet Tiles -- I bought two. Linda and I are each using a NazNet for a coaster beside our key board.

NazNet Golf Shirt -- I wore my NazNet Golf shirt on Friday. I got several compliments. Nate Swartzlander's shirt is on the way to Michigan.

NazNet Tee Shirts -- I bought three. They are my favorite of the things I bought. They have the NazNet logo across the back as well as where the pocket would be if there was a pocket.

All in all, I am pleased. I am going to contact CafePress about a NazNet Mouse Pad. That is something everyone needs.

Definitely want to figure out which T-shirt to get yet! ;)

Hey, Dave! Did you catch my note re the license plate holder elsewhwere? Someone mentioned NazNet things in another thread, so I put a note there, rather than coming here. It's neat ... it was just about adding something to the bottom (to avoid that Naz=Nazi item we heard about here long, long ago).

Thanks for setting up the site! Would love a mug, but with my breakage record, well ............ the shirt would have more longevity around here, I think! :basic05 Maybe a tile wouldn't be bad; they're not handled quite so much as a mug would be.

Yes, I tried to figure out how to add something to the bottom of the license plate holder. So far, I have not figured out how to do it.

The NazNet Store is "pending" for a while. That means that you can't buy NazNet Logo merchandise until Cafe Press gets things up and running again. The server on which logos were stored crashed a couple of days ago. When they switched to their backup server, it crashed too. I received a notice that all items with the NazNet logo will be marked "pending" until they get the logo information restored to a server that will work.

I will post an update when the store is open again.

My mother and brother just arrived here in Australia to visit me. They brought with them the NazNet mugs I ordered and had delivered to her house as soon as they became available.

This is Roland and me sitting on the veranda enjoying a cup of tea together in our spiffy new NazNet mugs!

Cool!

If you come up with a better option, let me know. I don't know if it is "overhead" or just the cost of producing items one order at a time.

Anyway, just in case anyone wonders, neither NazNet nor I get anything from your purchases from Cafe Press.
