We had a great time over the weekend. Lori and I chaperoned 3 kids from our church and 2 kids from other churches at ENC.
Rev. Jon Twitchell was there. My daughter met with Linda Scott and I briefly saw Jeremy (though I didn't have a chance to talk with him).
The first picture is of Jon. The Maine district all had halos - and they weren't sharing them. It was great to meet with Jon throughout the weekend and to post on naznet when we were but a few feet apart.
The second picture is inside the Wollaston sanctuary. Dave Curtis was the speaker. The first night he spoke about sin fracturing creation (like a crack in the windshield). We wait and hope that creation will fix itself - but like the windshield it just gets worse. He used a picture of his windshield as the ppt background. The teens really got a lot out of the services and workshops and enjoyed hanging out and competing in their various events.
The third picture is of the outside of Wollaston church as sunset approaches.
picture 4: ENC's Gospel choir sang the first night at the Wollaston church. They are awesome!
Finally, a little bragging: My daughter won a bronze for her painting and our drama group won a bronze for their skit. Two of the girls traveling with us did a great job singing. Another girl with us had an excellent photo and great writing. Upstate NY did well in all the team events as well - women's volleyball (silver), math/science quizzing (silver)
