Today in our 3 services we had 1,284 people. We dedicated 19 young children and babies to the Lord. One of them was Anna Ryan Gernand, her grandpa and grandma; Dr. Dan and Denise Boone were on hand and grandpa was able to dedicate his granddaughter. It was a great day of rejoicing in new lives and reaching out to those who don't know Christ. I love my church (Jackson, MI First Nazarene) and our God.

Great report

there was an out pouring of God's Spirit in our service today. I noted a boy about 7-8 years old..worshiping with his eyes closed..singing praises and open hands to the Lord...warmed this ole' heart..then noted another preteen girl worshiping so sincerely..i know it is best to focus on God during worship..however i really believe He had these two precious children revealed to me.

to remind me that

a little child shall lead them

and they did

Is there anyone here willing to admit that they've ever gone to church and God didn't show up? If so, please tell me how that happened.

I sure have been in some services where some folks have killed the anointing of God. All the way from a lady getting up and speaking her mind about the church, to bad music. I've seen just about everything.
But I have been in services where the anointing of God is there.
I am of the opinion that God is always at our services. It's just a matter of whether we are welcoming His presence.
