Russ and Donna Lovett are college friends of ours. They are currently serving in Africa and have only been there a few years. So this video should be fairly recent.

Dear Carsten:
Thank you so much for posting Russ Lovett's powerpoint presentation.
I was with the Lovetts in Rwanda last summer and this brought back so many wonderful memories.
I recognized many friends that I made while there, and loved seeing some of the places that I visited... especially Lake Kivu.
The lake pictures look like they were taken on the northern Rwanda side looking across the lake to the Congo border.
We ate Talapia fish from that lake... the only variety of fish in the lake. Kivu is a beautiful place.
That is the location of the Ordination picture... wonderful church!
They take care of over 300 orphans and almost as many AIDS widows each week.
Attached are a couple of pictures of Russ & Donna Lovett.
The first one was in their home on the mission compound in Kilgali, Rwanda.
They have since moved to the African Nazarene Univ. in Kenya.
The other person in the picture is Cort Miller, who assists Larry Bollinger at NCM headquarters.
He and Trino Jara were our fearless leaders in Africa.
The second picture is of Russ giving our group some background info outside the Genocide Museum in Kilgali.
That was a chilling experience!
Russ and Donna have the most beautiful clothes made for them out of African waxed cotton fabric.
They helped me pick out and purchase a piece of beautiful fabric similar to what they are wearing in the pictures.
I haven't done anything with it yet, but someday it will become a skirt like the ones I saw ladies wearing in Rwanda.
