During the long dreary winter, we sometimes forget how beautiful the spring is on Puget Sound. Today is sunny and bright. Belle and John David begged to walk down to our beach. Here are some pictures of Spring on Puget Sound.

Belle is a true gift.
(I always missed a sister for Elisabeth between her six brothers, so I got the spleen to look for girls more than for boys.)

Dave you posted a picture of your home a couple of years ago. If you know where it is or if you have another one could you post it. I wanted to show my huband. It's a beautiful place.

Sure, here are some pictures I took this morning. The third picture is one I took of the back entrance to our subdivision.

Sorry Dave, but I have difficulty believing that any day in such a beautiful place would be "dreary." It is truly lovely.

He just love the house and the view. I knew he would, especially the deck. And of course being the "lawn ranger" he thought the yard looked nice.

Here are some more signs of Spring in Gig Harbor.
This morning a deer decided to explore the next door neighbor's yard. I wondered how she was gong to jump over the fence because if she made a running jump, she would probably go off the cliff, into the water. To my surprise, she just walked up to the fence and jumped over it -- no running start.
Anyway the other pictures were taken on our walk this morning. One is the front gate to our subdivision. Another is taken from our house looking up the hill. Walking up that hill is great exercise.
When the Robins and dandelions return to Gig Harbor, spring can't be far behind.

Dave,
Great action photo of the leaping deer!
Maybe sports photography should be your next creative venture.

I love to take wild life photos. Getting good pictures of animals takes a little skill and a lot of luck. One of my wild life photos was featured on Seattle Channel 5. I will see if I can find it to post.
I was sneaking up on a marmot to take its picture. Just as I got him in focus, two more stuck their heads in the picture. I have been back to that place dozens of times, but have never had another chance at something like that.
