The following is from Dr. Teresa Wood, professor at MVNU.

I just returned to my desk after chapel at MVNU. I wanted to email with a praise report. So often we get discouraged about the number of lost, I hope this email will be an encouragement. The Holy Spirit was present in such a powerful way during today's chapel! As the praise team ministered in music students begin to open their hearts to the Lord. The alters filled in several progressive waves throughout the service, many students testified. They again filled the altars, praised the Lord in song and with uplifted hands. There were tears, smiles, hugs, and prayers and songs! It was truly magnificent! I can't describe it. We are so blessed to have our university that holds fast to our mission, while so many other universities with a historical start in the church have failed to remember! Chapel typically last about 50 minutes but when the hour was over students were still praying and singing! When I left- nearly 20 minutes past the scheduled hour, many students remained. Some in their seats not wanting to leave, praying from their seats and the altars! I hope you all keep MVNU in your prayers and these precious students that are so open to the Lord! He is still able!

This is great news. Please pray that the revival will continue and will break out in our churches.

Wonderful!!!

This sounds like the spirit which existed during my tenure there. The Spirit of the Lord can flood that chapel - I have experienced it and would love to experience it again.

Thanks for the report.

Let us all pray that the other campuses will experience a visitation of the Holy Spirit.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I told about it during my sermon this morning - as I deal with the John 12: "Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." Explaining that the light is shining there and it is time to act!
