Family movie based on the book by Hiassin. He also writes books for adults.
If you liked the book youwill be happy t know that they were true to the book.
This movie is about a boy 12-13 who moves to Florida, is bullied, finds a mystery and tries to save an endangered species. There are funny characters and moments and no one is portrayed like a stereotype. No foul language that I remember but I did have to answer the phone at one point.
Good for the whole family, no mature themes. Available on DVD.
