For some reason I cannot get it to initiate - create a CD.

Anyone have any suggestions short of using this computer as a boat anchor?

Don't feel like you are alone in having problems with Roxio products. I recently bought Roxio Software. It didn't work as advertised on the package and when I sent in the Rebate Form they rejected it with a note that the software wasn't the one that the rebate covered. The amount wasn't worth the hassel to fight it, but Roxio won't be getting more of my business.

To make matters worse, I just bought a new Dell laptop. It came with Roxio software installed. Each time I boot up the computer, I get an error message stating that the Roxio Driver wasn't installed because it will cause my comptuer to freeze. I have been to the Roxio website to see if I can find an update driver -- not a user friendly site.

Dave,

My Vista automatically searched for the Roxio patch and took me directly to the page that had it. Perhaps you are experiencing a different sort of problem or perhaps my Vista version is more current????

The day after I posted about my problem on NazNet, Vista notified me that Roxio had a patch and that I should go to the Roxio Web Site. I did so anf the error message no longer appears. I assume that the patch fixed the problem.
