Dave, thanks for the pictures. I see you're still working on the settings of de D200. Some pictures are great (I love the picture of Belle in the last post, that one is terrific) but especially the pictures outside are a bit strange colorwise. I can't help you, for I don't have a D200, but I do wonder why you set the white balance to manual.

Yeah, I loved the first one where Dave has green hair! :)

Dave, thanks for sharing your Easter. At least it looked warm out there...we had snow. Drat!

Don't blame the camera. You are correct that I am still working on learning the settings for the D200. I love the way the camera feels, but the "default" settings are a lot different from the D70. It will take some practice.

The unusual coloring of these pictures is more a result of using the "I feel lucky" feature of Picasa than the D200.

I guess the new computer, the new camera and old eyes didn't get the colors adjusted just right. Anyway, when you have as little hair as I, the color isn't that important.

I have a add-on in Firefox called FxIF. If gives the EXIF information of a picture by clicking on the properties, provided they are included in the picture, of course.

So Belle's picture tells me:

Camera Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Camera Model: NIKON D200
Image Date: 2007:04:08 14:47:20
Flash Used: No
Focal Length: 36.0mm (35mm equivalent: 54mm)
Exposure Time: 0.025 s (1/40)
Aperture: f/4.2
ISO equiv: 100
White Balance: Manual
Light Source: Incandescent
Metering Mode: Center Weight
Exposure: program (Auto)

As you see, I accidentally set the the White Balance to "Manual" when I thought it was on "Auto." Oh the joys of using a new camera.

Once it is allowed,
Linda looks so nice like ever. She is always a bit in background - but a queen, a Dame Grande.

Thanks for the great pictures.
Everyone is growing up, no babies anymore.
Looks as if everyone had a wonderful Easter

Dave, thanks for sharing the pictures of your family. I love the one of Ruby and Belle hugging. That one is so sweet.
