What a sweet looking couple your pastor and his wife are! I trust that all details of that service will be with them for a lifetime.

Blessings,

3. Dr. Jim Diehl.

I know one shouldn't make too much out of a single picture, but it is not hard to see a concerned father in this one.

I know one shouldn't make too much out of a single picture, but it is not hard to see a concerned father in this one.

Dr. Diehl is a person who shows his feelings. He is very burdened for his son and for his wife. We should all hold the family up in prayer. For those who don't know, Dr. Diehl's youngest son, Dave, has cancer. He got a report this week that showed 4 additional spots. One on his spine and 3 on his liver. He needs a miracle. As one would expect, Dorothy Diehl is taking the news very hard. Pray for the Diehl family.

Pastor Wes gave a testimony about his recovery from the accident. He has recovered very quickly and is doing great.

He testified that the accident caused his relationship with his wife to improve on a spiritual level.

Hey,

Pam, thanks for asking about my health! I worked for about 9 hours straight today...mowed our lawn, mowed the neighbor's lawn (he has Lou Gehrig's disease), did a bunch of raking and cleaning. My prayer at dinner started with "Dear Lord, THANK YOU for the healing and strength You give!"

You all have a good day tomorrow. Looking forward to having Dave and Linda in our evening service. Dr. Diehl used my wife's truck today and drove to Portland to visit his sister, Dorothy.

Friend,

Wes

Having known the Smith family back as far as 1951, I can say that Wes does look like his father. Good to see you, Wes.

The ordination picture now saddens me knowing what the NEWS
is now telling us of a man who had such great potential.
This makes me realize that you must have many more pictures of memories
of the "good" times you must have had with this beautiful family.
I don't know them personally , but I have always cherished the "family" feel of the Church of the Nazarene around the world.
You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
