Evidence that we are a consumer society: Due to a typographical error someone was pretty excited that our church had "mall groups!" ;)

Hey, now there's an idea as to where a "small group" could meet!!! You never know who God will bring through the doors.

That is funny.
I once typed in the church bulletin that our D.S. and his wife would be with us next Sunday and Margaret would be sinning in our morning service.
Fortunately I caught the error just as I started printing them off and re-did it.

I know someone who once typed something about a "food panty" in the bulletin

Barb,
When I was at MVNU (a hundred years ago before PC's), I was TYPING the Homecoming program. After I was finished, I noticed a small typo...I had typed that special music would be performed by the Homecoming Sinners! No comment on the irony it produced! :) Since it was typed, I had to start over from scratch! I love computers.

Funny thing is that these typos would still pass spell-check.
I can say with honesty that I have never turned in a paper or printed document NOT done on some kind of computer or word processor.
