Mike, now that Spring seems to finally arrived Virginia and I have gotten our garden prepared and the early things planted. Mike, how are you doing with yours? I trust you have gotten a start.

My old rototiller finally gave up. Too old to even get parts for anymore so I bought myself a small Troy-Built rear tine tiller. With my ruptured disk, this tiller makes garden work much easier. It is very easy to operate and it can be guided by one hand, just we see them advertize.

I am looking forward to that first vine ripened tomato!!!

Pastor Bill, that fine rototiller comes from the town of my birth, Troy, NY, I have been by the company many times on the way to work!

William, I had to smile when I read your post. I just walked in the door after tilling my garden. Someone gave me an old tiller, and it works great. I used to do it by hand, using a shovel, believe it or not.

The soil looked good, and I imagined planting tomatoes. I am going with just Better Boy and Big Boy this year.

I also imagined my granddaughter joining me in August in picking the tomatoes. She did it last year when she was two, so I imagine she will enjoy it again this year.

As I tilled the garden I was thinking of the goodness of God and how good it is to know Him.

I am happy you got a new tiller, Bill, and that it is much easier on your back. Please be careful.

All I put in is a few tomatoes now but when I had a full garden, I just rented a tiller every year. There is a dealer just a block and a half from my house and I could walk over. He didn't rent any rear tine tillers though.
