If you are like me and writing notes to yourself all the time, then this program might be for you? It is much the same as Google Notebook but lays on your computer. I looked at the sticky note program but it was not for me.

You must go thru the "quick tour" before downloading EverNote because it just may not be for you either.

The best example is that it scrolls your notes like newspaper clippings and in categories plus by date stamp as well. Just started using it and so far it looks promising for what I want. That is clipping notes plus urls of web pages for our web site.

Link is here: EverNote (http://www.evernote.com/en/)

It is one of those programs that might go places unless Google buys it?

Bob, thanks for the tip. I downloaded the free version and have been playing with it this morning. It looks like something I will use regularly.

Michael, There is another similar program called "NoteIT". It is a bit more user friendly but hasn't got all the bells and whistles like EverNote.

You might want to look at it. It just stores alpha but has an email and print button. If you want something simple, it might be more serviceable?

Take your pick!

Thanks, Bob. I believe I will try EverNote for awhile first. I actually like the bells and whistles. :basic01

I am surprised that EverNote is a freebie. I like a lot of its features.

Thanks, guys. That "sticky notes" someone mentioned ... well, i used that for a long time, and sort of liked it, until I got so many notes covering my desktop that I had to move them around to read what else I had on my desktop. (liked making them various colors, tho'; I'd use different colors for different reminders).

So, we'll take a look at these sometime. ;)
