My Windows xp Hewlett Packard computer occassionaly freezes. The solution has always been to turn off the power strip it's plugged into, leave it off for a bit then turn it back on. If that isn't enough, just hit the window key that brings up the start menu and turn it off properly. Now the window key won't work, the mouse is still frozen. I noticed that my number and caps locks weren't working so tried a different keyboard. That didn't work either. Any suggestions to get me off my husbands laptop and back on the computer that has all MY stuff saved on it???
