I have windows XP and every time I start my computer the system 32 folder comes up. I have tried spyware protection check, and virus protection check....an ysuggestions.

Can you be more specific about what you mean by the folder "coming up"? Is it being flagged in a virus scan? Is the folder opening on your desktop? Are there any error messages?

If you mess with the registry, proceed very carefully -- but I have done it many times without a crash yet.

Glad it helped! I just went to Google and searched for +system32 +startup or something like that.
