clicking "laughing" was not enough... I actually laughed out loud at this video. After I was done laughing, I really did feel bad though that this man's cameras were probably not in great shape afterwards, nor were the bride and groom's pictures. :(

My daughter has been asked to do photography at our district assembly in a couple of weeks -- her first indoor people-posing gig. I showed her this video. I think it will be very helpful to her. Thanks, Dana.

Yes, watch out for the baptistry -- or actually, what was that body of water at the end of the aisle? Whatever it was, watch out for it!!! LOL

I encouraged a broader application of the lesson. It's probably not a good idea to walk backwards down the aisle snapping continuous in-your-face flash photos of people. Such behavior can lead to disaster. ;)

The video is actually a little puzzling. Was it staged for laughs? If so, I hope that was a fake camera/lens. If not, was that the official video the happy couple was going to get of their wedding -- the back of their photographer flashing away as he led the way down the aisle?

If it's not staged, my other question is ... did the photographer see it and notice what a spectacle he was making of himself before the fall and change his ways? More disturbing than the damaged camera is the thought of a wedding photographer so clueless concerning appropriate behavior at a wedding.

Yes, my guess is that it was staged. However, if they did all of that to make a youtube video, well, that just seems strange to me. But, the thing that gets me most is the fact that a photographer with 2 cameras that have long lenses on them is leading a just-married couple down the aisle backwards snapping pictures so close up that they can't turn out very professional looking. And if I was a bride, I'd want my dress in the picture -- which wouldn't happen the way he was taking pictures!! PLUS, walking and snapping pictures usually equals BLURRY pictures. SOOOO, the more I look at it, the more I think it was probably staged. There is another video of this on youtube, and the comment at the bottom stated "the pictures and camera survived" or something like that.

In my case.....forget taking pictures or falling in water....just the mere act of walking backwards would be disaster enough for me!!! LOL

I've overseen a few weddings now. As an officiant, my favorite photographers are the ones I don't remember.

To this point, I don't remember any of them (other than the ones that I know because they're friends of mine).
