The hand belongs to my son Johannes, he took the shot in his kitchen in Witten / Ruhr area in Norhtrhine - Westphalia.

Johannes uses his kitchen in common with his brother Andreas. Andreas got an appartment in the same house in center of Witten, but Andreas kitchen was emptied and is used at present as a computer - room. Both appartments are connected via a wireless LAN.
This are the boys eMaidens.

This table is a place of many discusses around youth sunday services and music, youth meetings, youth bible circle themes etc - very often Johannes and Andreas do have visitors from their community. They do have many friends, also and especially from the publishing house, Johannes is working for. Since christians do always work for the same boss, the borders of the family are wide - and publishing means also to have many, many connections.
The bottle does look like a french red wine bottle, but is an olive oil bottle from Spain. (edited) It is not round, it is four cornered, so please do not wonder about the labels perspective view.(/edited)
Design by IKEA (cheap, but nice clear and simple).

The corner vis a vis to the table, serves also as a place of silence. The boys do have here their common morning prayers before breakfast.
