In Oregon we have a serious contest between former Trail Blazer, Knicks, Cavs & Nets player Chris Dudley and John Kitzhaber. Dudley fell in love with Oregon while playing for the Blazers and now makes his home here. He won the republican primary convincingly and now faces the former two term governor of Oregon this fall in the general election.
What do you think of Sports figures turned politicians? Which ones have been successful? Which ones have not?
Chris Dudley will always be remembered for throwing the ball at Shaq when he played for the Knicks. Yeah, remember those Knicks/Lakers games and how out of control they were!
