Let me know after a bit, if you are able, how you did?

Prayers definitely ascending,

Ready or not, it could be a long night!
The noise has come on within the last 15 minutes. However, thankfully, nothing is tornadic. Just rain, wind, noise and lightning.

Oh. I wondered. Hope all is well.

Mark has gone to bed, but I'm still up. Lots of rumbling out there, but nothing really serious at this point. They just said the thunderstorm watch expires in about 30 minutes, though the rain is expected to continue through the night. Oops! Just lost the sattelite signal. I think the worst of it is passing through now.

Well, I lost the signal for the channel I was watching on antenna, so I guess it's time to go to bed! The map still shows severe thunderstorms in OK county, but they've moved on through here (NW part of the city/county) and are in the SE part of the county now. It has quieted down considerably. Maybe I can actually get to sleep! LOL So, we're fine, Edith and I trust you are, too. Good night!

....So, we're fine, Edith and I trust you are, too. Good night!

Doing fine now that the power came back on a bit earlier today. The winds weren't as high as predicted (over 100 mph) but evidently a transformer nearby was hit by lightning. It was some dramatic show that illuminated the skies but one dare not have gone outside to view it.

Grateful the sun is shining some today and it is NOT raining at the moment!

Blessings,

Yes, there was quite a lot of lightening last night! Your area seems to lose electricity a lot during storms. I'm glad it's back on. Funny how, at one time, people had never even heard of electricity. Now, we can't do without it!

According to weather reports this morning, if the sun comes out long enough, we should hit up close to 90F today and even higher in the days to come. Only 20% chance of rain later today. Tomorrow is the official start of summer with the summer solstice and from what the weather people are saying, summer is about to hit with full force!

P.S. Just think. A few months ago, we were grateful for any rain we got! Now, we're ready to be done with it!
