One of our pastoring NazNetter's church was burglarized a couple of days ago. William Hunter, if you read this, I would be interested in some details.

A number of these kind of incidents have come through my Google alerts for keyword "nazarene" lately.

Michael,

Bill emailed me Monday to tell us about this. The thieves broke in, took the majority of their sound system including the microphones they wear on their heads, all the computers and emptied all the drawers in the office. They did find a small amount of money in the youth pastor's office.

Bill was spending Tuesday and today getting estimates on replacement costs. The only damage was to doors that they splintered to enter offices and the outside door they damaged to gain entry. But it is a mess.

They do have insurance.

Bill was one of John's roommates at Olivet back in the Ice Age. John was in Bill's wedding and Bill's wife made my wedding dress. We have stayed close all these year. That is how I know about this.

Barbara, thank you for taking the time to post this info. Sounds like it will be little more than an inconvenience, since they did have insurance. I think I remember a day when churches were never burglarized, afraid that God Himself would zap you.

Yes, I was aware of your and John's longtime friendship. I can understand why you all would like each other. :basic01

Recently a church in my area had its AC units stolen. It's rampant.
