I wanted to share this with you all - an answer to prayer - we never know how HE is going to work!

For over 20 yrs. I have had chronic gout which turned into gouty arthritis. I was taking arthritis medication and had seen a podiatrist to get relief. The podiatrist said that after getting special made orthotics that nothing more could be done to give relief except surgery every 3-5 yrs to scrap off deposits off the bones in my feet.
The gouty arthritis was so bad that after driving or riding just 15-20 miles when I would get out & walk much like an old man, hobbling along gripping whatever I could to give me some support.(I'm only 46 now) I would also clinch my teeth in pain often. I have tried almost everything to get some sort of relief but to no avail.
Back in February a friend told me about a juice that if taken twice daily would hopefully give me that much needed relief from my gout. I ordered some and started drinking it as directed.
Well praise the Lord about 2 weeks later I began to walk better than I have walked in many years. I also began to have more energy, sleep better & deeper and it has also helped my spirits.
I am an elementary school teacher so I am on my feet alot & this is not good trust me to have gout and try to teach.
Others have noticed how it has helped me also.
I am so thankful to the Lord for leading me to this juice-His creation or rather Him leading me to it. And also thankful that it has helped me oh so much.

If ANYONE would be interested in knowing more, please let me know at kpsmith@gibsoncounty.net and I will be more than glad to give you more information.

I've got some dried goji berries I eat from time to time. They are supposedly the highest antioxidant food by a wide margin and are therefore supposed to fight cancer as well as arthritis. I'll look for the juice. I find it easier these days to drink juice or soup than to eat dry foods.

Cherry juice is also good. My B-I-L has been using that for a few years. I am glad you found relief Kevin. Gout is very painful.

Kevin,

Thank you for your post. We have a lady in our church who suffers tremendously from arthritis. I've cc&p'd your message in an e-mail to her husband. I hope this can help her as well.

Yes, often antioxidants take care of a lot of things.

Another thing one can do---learned by experience years ago---if they might tend towards this type of thing is to watch the black tea [tanic acid, think it is]. Anyway, I'd been drinking tons of iced tea when it was hot in TX, and I kept finding it hard to walk very far with achy/tender feet.

Learned re this acid, started having the tea in much smaller amounts, and more water, and it does help. So, while using this antioxidant, might want to check for some other things that were contributing that might also try to keep working against the juice's effects. ;)

Glad to hear you can stand better. Would hope it would be possible [allowed], too, for one to keep teaching, if it came to sitting down being better for one physically.

Glad the juice is helping you , Kevin . Unfortunately , this was investigated by Market Place , a Canadian government sponsored agency , and although the goji berry is an excellent source of helpful nutrients , the juice being sold has no more vit C that standard juice or anthing else that makes it special to take . The mark up is tremendous and the man behind it all is a dentist from Manitoba now living in Hollywood and very very rich . He paid for a doctorate degree from some unaccredited college in Washington state , I believe . The claims that it helps cancer cited an institution somewhere in the states and when that institution was contacted they said they had never used it on any patients though the report shared at sales meetings glowed with the wonders of what their study found and said all their cancer patients at institute were on it . The scientific study claiming it worked so well turned out to be a small study by a scientist , I think it was in NY ( its been a while since the program aired ) and his study was very small and only in a petrie dish ! When Market Place confronted the man in CA with these facts at his home in Hollywood , he said he'd stop using them and with more questioning got very angry and ordered them from his massive estate . Market Place later infiltrated a sales meeting in Canada and these studies were still being proclaimed and testimonies to what the juice could do.
I know Market Place has archives so it might be possible to access what they discovered .
As I said , I am glad you are finding help but you might be better off with Brad's dried Goji berries than this expensive juice and gain even more benefit .

Goji berries are said to have 10 times the antioxidants of blueberries, which are next highest on the list.

The down side is the juice is horrendously expensive and must not taste very good. I found goji juice in a health food store today in one litre bottles for $46. The label said dilute it 5-1 with water or some other juice.

It may just want you to dilute the juice to lower the cost, because the dehydrated berries I've been eating don't taste bad at all.
