This is a video that was posted on a blog from our Christian radio station, KSBJ.

I have not searched to see if anyone else has already posted this. So forgive me if it is a duplicate.

Do you know what dry cleaners Jesus uses? His robe always looks so nice and white.

Seriously, after everyone is blessed watching the video, honest, why do we always picture Jesus in the first century and then try to convence people he is relevant to our day. Wouldn't he most likely have had jeans and a one way tee shirt on if he was dancing with that girl?

I guess I really would not know, I'm Nazarene, I don't dance. I know you are going to kill me for my humor but someone has to laugh once in a while or people will think we are Christians.

LOL!! I cannot answer your question but in this video, Jesus did have a well groomed haircut. I hope not to turn this thread into a theology discussion about convincing modern times people about our ancient Lord, Jesus. :basic03

'Haven't seen the video, and probably won't be on-line long enough for it to even load [dial-up's still really slow ;)]. But, anyway, Jim, you made me think of a movie [maybe we could move this to the movie forum, since I'd give it a thumbs up] when mentioning Jesus in jeans & T-shirt.

Anyone seen the movie entitled simply, "Joshua?" Have seen it a couple of times now [probably not long after it first came out, and then about a year or so later---both on TV]. That was a more up-to-date movie about this guy, Joshua, who came to town, and people wondered about him. Then, at the end, this frustrated gal tosses something down that's glass, and then she feels awful. Later Joshua returns it to her, looking different, yet really good ... makes one think re a "beauty [out of] ashes" illustration ... a beautiful sculpture out of shattered glass shards.

Finally, not one to watch a movie more than once, usually, if I recall having seen it before [hey, I already know the ending!]. But there are some I'll watch again ... looking for details I've missed earlier, I guess. OOPS! I just lied ... forgot that about once a year I'll watch "Sound of Music" ... a good sing-along movie. ;)

He would, but he needs to be immediately, identifiably Jesus. You'd have to adapt the sketch in some way to make that apparent from the very beginning. It might be easier to just go with the universally recognized image.

Well, I don't attend dances, and don't know howto dance, but I have to do something sometimes, when the occasion calls for it in our home. It is just part of my personality.

Thanks, Andrea.
I'm familiar with this dance.
I'll be sharing the video with my teen-age daughters.
Blessings,
Laurie
