View Full Version : life is more funny as long we use Microsoft software

A few weeks or months ago I renamed all not needed libraries (extension dll) to *.de_el_el. The beginning was to erase Outlook Express as a prior security risk from harddrive. Than I looked for more to save RAM capacities and renamed alot of "not needed" things, I did not like to load into memory as long they are not really needed.

The only one application did not like that, was Skype, the free for private using chat program. Skype comes along with too many bells and whistles nobody really needs - like "extras / flash - avatars".
(What a nonsense! "Buy a picture you do not need" - for me it is the most stupid way to say: "give me your money" - really - Skype users do buy such flash - file must really be extreme stupid). So it does not matter what Skype will tell me once it will start - "I miss this and that file". As long text chat and text chat protocol (on a "SQLight" database) will work, it is OK for me, in more I am not interested.

A few minutes ago I tried to install "Visual C++ Redistributable".
And got an alert window with the text
"Error 1723. There is a problem related to this Windows Installer packet. A DLL is missed ..."
without to say what dll is meant.

What fun!
Intelligence is the most missed thing in this world, right?
But I will get it, ha, ha! I do have already the solution.
Better were to say what file is missed - right?
This is typically Microsoft - the blue screen creating software.
