This awesome forest well hidden in Marin County is definitely a destination location.My sister and I made our way to the summit..and then relaxed and just soaked in the beauty of the ferns, trees and most especially the groves of Redwoods

anytime is a good time to revisit places of your fond memories Cecil

this is what i am doing here in Monterey County as i spent
time here as a nurse at Ft Ord in the Army Hospital, that was [then]overflowing with guys returning from Vietnam


this is turning out to be a bittersweet journey for me, sorta like coming home in my heart..San Francisco and Monterey area has that effect on me.

Anyway glad you enjoyed the hike..I am wayyy outta shape.
