I took this pic on the way home from fishing this a.m. and I'm close to 6' tall.

I believe you. And why not? You wouldn't fake a photo, would you??? :)

Besides, yesterday I spoke with a couple who live in Olney, IL, and they basically told me the same thing.
Amazing what a bit of water will do for the crops.

As of yesterday, we had accumulated our total annual average rainfall for this area. We have a total of 45"+ as of July 6.
