Challenge: Lightning

I'm sure that others have wonderful pictures of lightning......but MAN, I do not have patience to photograph lightning!! I guess if it is a really intense storm and there are many streaks of lightning, maybe, but getting outside with a little pittly storm and waiting for a streak of lightning -- FORGET IT.......I QUIT.

I did get ONE picture.....out of about 200 pictures. ONE STINKING LIGHTNING PICTURE........

I've decided that I do not want a career as a lightning photographer!!! LOL

Here is what the sky looked like tonight......and then my one measly lightning picture...........

OK, now that my vent is over......LOL

I probably won't REALLY quit -- but I'm definitely going to wait for a better storm next time!!

Dana, I think that you have totally explained WHY I don't have any lightning pictures!
Besides, of all the rain we've had, there was not that much lightning..... just rain.

Hmmmm... maybe I'll see some lightning that I can photograph while we are in Colorado.
