Have you ever noticed that old people make the same observations repeatedly?

I hadn't noticed that. I'll have to keep a watch out for it.

Thanks for the chuckle, Dennis.

Who are you calling old...wait a minute, why did I come in here, anyway?

Yes, I have.

Yes, I have, and I believe you were referring to moi. Have your fun, youngster. We oldsters gain a lot of entertainment out of watching you folks age as well.

Dennis, do you mean you've "observed" such "observations" ... just had to try being redundant in a different way than you were, repeating the word rather than the post. :basic05

Does it depend on what "is" is?
Sorry, 90's flashback! :)

See, the key is to only hang out with other old people. That way, by the time you forget what you just said and say it again, all the people around you will have forgotten that you said it and be newly impressed by your astuteness.

Some people may think that the forgetfulness that comes with age is a "bug" in life's software, however, it is actually a feature. How else could we put up with each other for so long?

So, you've caught on to my method of using illustrations in preaching!

Now, what was the question? I forget what I was going to write.

Oh, who are you?

My definition of old is anyone who is 20 years older than my 83 year-old mother. ;)

Are you sure? Are you sure it's not Garfield this time? :basic05

Sort of like an automatic cache clear.

You jogged my mind ... another thing I like re Firefox [had to look at the top to see if we have "Firefox" or "Foxfire" ;)] ... 'always clearing the cache; can't so easily find it in MSIE. So, once a person gets to where they've quite a bit of "automatic cache clearing," it could be said they've become rather "Foxy," sort of like this browser?

"Old" is anyone older than me, 'cause I'm gettin' on there in years, you young whippersnappers!
And I think that I am still "young."

I think that no matter how old I am, my pastor, doctor and president should always be older than me. ;-)

Yeah, I agree. But, then I had to change the rule because, for the first time in my life, my pastor is younger than me. But, he's such a great preacher and pastor, that it was easier to change the rule than to settle for second-best!

I used to think that too but it has not been true since I started going to my current doctor and the first pastor that was younger than me was in 1985 and now George Bush.

Joanne, people twenty years older than your mother would be called "dead."

One thing I dislike very much is for someone to think of me as old. if you do, you must have not seen me lately. ha
