Carsten, tried a sheet of white paper against the computer screen to see if I could see letters in the picture...can't make them out.
Am I close? I'll take a wild guess...."Monaco" ??

I guess, you to think to Gracia Patricia of Monaco - known to her best times as the most beautiful Lady under the sun? It was a big spectacle once she married Rainier. My favorite story with her played in Nizza, South of France - she liked black clothes and to climb in nights on roofes in common with Cary Grant.
No, she ist not, sorry.
As a citizen of Canada (as citizen from outside the U. S.) you will get a bonus, please try again. Citizens of the U. S. will learn the solution already in elementary schools, so they do not get a bonus, ha, ha!
This Lady we do look for, never stepped in foreground - she always has been a real wife for her husband (a half step behind him) - but - because she did act this way, she was the one, gave her best for many, many people - not at least for us in splitted Germany.

You will know -
every man is just as strong as his wife will make him,
right?

I think,
nobody ever is able to to tell any negative thing about her.
I can not remember, she made any negative headline.
Everybody will love her.
A real Lady.

Really?
Are you sure?
Kevin Bowser

It looks like her to me. The link to IMDB was a clue since she was an actress earlier in her life.

Would you like me to use her maiden name? :basic05
Nancy Davis.

Yes, as I do know, she was indeed an actress, a talented and a beloved actress.
But - could it be, her name will be ... ?
Kevin Bowser
10th July 2007, 09:24 PM (21:24)
I used her married name - Nancy Reagan
I used her maiden name - Nancy Davis
What name are you looking for?

Please - it is a riddle - from what I should know her names?
I am german, I did never learn the names of U. S. - First Ladies at school.
I only have heard about her, she gave her best for many, many people - not at least for us in splitted Germany. She must have had her hand in global politics.
Her husband should have held a speech in Berlin - to that time official "Berlin (West)",
"Mr. Gorbatchew, open the gate!",
nobody in the free world will forget ever.
Äh - ja nun - her name ...
... please,
are you really sure?
Carsten Schermuly

OK - that is in fact a real hard proof - I will accept.
Now I also do know her names.
Thank you!

Do you have a PayPal account?
Kevin Bowser

Give the 20 dollars to Nazarene Missions International instead. That way, we both feel good about it!
I am still not sure I understand exactly what you were asking. But, it was fun trying to figure it out.

I did ask you to own a PayPal - account.
A simple question.
Give the 20 dollars to Nazarene Missions International instead.Instead of what, please?

Carsten,
I think we are misunderstanding one another. I thought you were playing a guessing game. I have no intention of taking money for a guessing game.
My use of the word "instead" was meant to say give the 20 dollars to Nazarene World Missions that you were offering to the winner of your guessing game.
Thank you for the picture guessing game.
Carsten Schermuly
11th July 2007, 12:58 PM (12:58)
No, dear Kevin,
there is no misunderstanding.
Let us return to the beginning - someone does read
"I will give 20 Dollars once ...
... you do know who this famous Lady will be."
and without to think about he does read,
"I will give 20 Dollars
to the winner of this riddle (or game) - and this just a short time after a correct answer was fallen,
once ...
... you do know who this famous Lady will be."
As we do know, we all are strictly against gambling and / or betting for money.
Exceptions are allowed - e. g. fundraising for a mission project or so.
Fact is - I have not said who will get the 20 bucks - and when.
Since you have thought, I meant it the serious way - 20 bucks for a correct answer - and this "cash on hand" you did not like the uncomfortable looking situation - and you told me "to give it instead of ...".
To pull you on leg, I asked you for your PayPal account.
In case you had told me "Yes, I have one" - I had asked you for the service "Are you satisfied? Does it work correct?" and more nonsense - but I had no word lost how to pay you via PayPal - because this was never said by me.
(And yes, tithe, mission offer and Alabaster etc is OK.)
I will give 20 bucks to my wife on saturday before Christmas she goes shopping.
This or a similar phrase I have thought to - in case a related question had appeared - again - because never was said,
"... to the winner of this riddle (or game) - and this quickly ..."
bottom line
I created a misunderstanding by will.
Yes, you do well to shake head, my mother already has said, I never will become a serious adult.

No reaction - I do see know, my idea was not taken as fun.

Good News
I had today a phonecall to my sister.
It did last about two hours.
Reason of the call was a conflict between my brother and me about different understandings about internet businesses.
All the years my sister and me stood in our professions, we have had no time to talk to another.
Today we have spoken out alot of things, we did not like to touch all the years.
To stay in a profession means to earn money.
That makes independent.
Everybody does follow his own interests and imaginations of life.
Now my sister is retired and has time.
Now I can talk about my desires and I am heard.
Turn it - before I did act the same way - "I do not agree to your plans".
You see - a good profession can be a hinderance to stay in unity.
Today we got back unity in many things.
What a luck.
My sister promised to play the peacemaker between our brother and me - today she did see why I did this or that in the past.
I got her solidarity.
She is willingly to discuss the possibility to join the MLMs, I am involved in.
