I've started scanning old slides, beginning with my father's slides. This is one of the very first he ever took, in December 1968. They are not 24x36mm slides but 18 x 24. I remember he had a Yashica camera. Later on he moved to 24x36mm. I think it was the camera below that he used.

This is me, age 11, playing the organ we had back in those days. Must have been on a Sunday for that was the only day I wore clothes like these. I hated the sweater or whatever it was.

The handle on the door is interesting for 1968. How old was the house?

It was build in 1964. My parents bought it from the constructor. My mother still lives there and the handle is still the same, as is the door. The organ has gone though.

Hans,

I had to look twice to see the date the slide was taken...

They must have been stored well!

That or you did color correction and/or fungus removal...

They were stored well. You can see some dots of dust on it though. I scanned it, brightened it, and that's really all. I'll be busy for a while :basic05

It was a harmonium, one that was intended to be taken with you. You can see the handle on the side. That's why it was a lot smaller than the usual ones. I'm not sure why my father bought this one specifically, we never moved it.
A few years later, he bought an electronic organ.
