LOL! The pamphlet in your pocket says Niagara Falls! Are all the photos in the same area?

Lovely pictures by the way. Thank you for sharing!

Picture #1 & 3 taken from the left side of Bridal Falls, on the American side.

Picture #2 taken of the Niagara River looking back from the Bridal Falls Observation platform.

Picture #4 & 5 taken from the right side of Bridal Falls, on the American side.

Picture #6 taken from the middle of the Rainbow Bridge standing at the international border between the US and Canada.

It's amazing. Niagara Falls Park is nice but the area of Niagara Falls NY, right outside the park is kind of run down and sleazy looking. When you cross over into Canada, Niagara Falls ON CA is much nicer, better maintained and it is fun to visit.

Brings back memories from about 7 years ago, when we were there.

And you are correct about the Canadian side versus the American side.
Did you take the "Maid of the Mist" boat ride? That was interesting.

There is a video at this link on Niagra Falls. They will be diverting the water within the next year to clean up and repair some of the bridges. Very beautiful place! (This video will probably be posted on the front page only for today)

Effingham, Illinois?

No, that was last week. (-:

Actually, to Marilyn, I was in Buffalo for training this week and we only had one quick evening after work to run over to the Falls. Because we were so short on time we didn't even try to drive across (didn't want to get held up at the border getting back in the US) but just walked across the bridge.

And actually, tonight I am sitting in a hotel in the bustling metropolis of Plain Grove PA (about 40 miles north of Pittsburg) with a bad transmission. Car's still under warranty, but I'm not thrilled about spending time in a hotel instead of getting home, but it's better than trying to drive through the mountains of WV in low gear. )-:

I know, Glenn! I know! Tahquamenon Falls! HA! 'Just had to be a smart aleck, as I've been to Niagara how-many times. Besides, had to smugly let you know I can spell Tahquamenon, too. :basic05

Those are beautiful pictures.
