I had to think for a second because while I most often have ice cream for dessert, I think that if time, money, and availability were not factors, I would indeed have cake more often (with a full glass of almost frozen milk, of course).

Make that cocoanut cream pie with a bit of almond flavoring in it. Oh yeah ... gotta have nicely browned meringue on top of this, too. ;)
Just about anything CHOCOLATE.
Amen, Andrea! [well, if it's DARK chocolate]
Rhubarb Pie
This one is what was actually on my mind, tho' I like the above-named items.
Strawberry-rhubarb pie.
Sans the strawberries ... straight rhubarb! Mmmmmmm! :basic05
Have to vote for "other" (or whatever it said), since I couldn't pick just one. You see, besides the above good things already mentioned, there's homemade apple pie with tons of cinnamon! Ahhhhhhhh ....
Now, as for how often we eat dessert, that's another story. Not too often.

Dwayne makes a delicious Elvis Pressley cake-to die for. Now, do I sound old like those other old people--or is that an old fad to say that now? ha

What, pray tell, is an 'Elvis Presley Cake' ... something with bananas & peanut butter, from which we've heard he made sandwiches, or what?
