Or at least a sticky thread in Technology for dealing with technical/training issues in posting. It would be nice to have a place to go where I can as question like:
Why, oh, why can't I spell check? Egads! I'm a computer nerd and I cannot figure out the spell check.
Stuff like that.

Steve,
Considering the myriads of options of this software, I would second your request.
As to a spelling checker, just use a plugin to your browser. It will work here and elsewhere as well! :D

Hi,
I use the Google Toolbar, and it works great. Both of the latest versions for Firefox and IE have this feature. Very handy. I only have found a few places it does not work, but for Naznet, no problem.
Hope This Helps,

With the exception of short, quick posts, I generally compose my posts in Wordperfect or Word (depending at which computer I am using at the time) and then cut and paste it to the discussion. I cannot spell, therefore I program.
I just thought it would save me a step if that button with the check mark and letter appeared in my browser.
I generally do not install any plugins for my browsers, but might just try it.
I am using FireFox for this board. Opera is my favorite browser but it has always been a bit quirky with the Java applet pop-up menu on Naznet. (I think it is e-mailing my bank account information to Scott C.) :D
Another idea for a tech support forum would be to have some sticky threads for the most commonly asked questions at the top of said forum.

I second your suggestion for having a technical support forum! I could really learn lots about my tech stuff on one! I have so much to learn and I love technology and computers!
God has helped make life interesting and fun by giving us computers!! :D

... but they're not on this "techno" forum, so I guess I'd better check the "general discussion" ....

Great idea -- it has been added and I have moved several threads over to it to help it get started.
