Our family needs prayer.

We got a call today that Dwayne's mother has had a stroke. She is not prarlyzed. Her speech is slow now. That is what was wrong with her, plus a urinary infection. They have her on antibiotics.
Just now, we got word that one of Dwayne's brothers has had a stroke.
I think he worked too hard too many times on a building programs, that caused him to have heart trouble before this. He is a retired elder--brother just below Dwayne in age. They were raised this way, though.
Once, his family visited us in Memphis overnight. Dwayne took him and his boys down to the South Haven, Mississippi Church where he was pastoring, and they worked all night. Some people don't know when to stop.

Thanks to everyone who has prayed for Dwayne's mother and brother.
I think his brother's stroke was maybe a mini stroke. Dwayne talked briefly with his parents today. His mother's speech is slow, and she is only using short sentences, and mostly "yes" and "know." His dad said that she was better today. She is not paralyzed, and has no pain. She is 91-has one leg. She has a sister that will be 100 December 16th, and has a good mind. She just went into an assisted living two room apartment last year after breaking her hip. She quit driving two years ago this month.
