... in the "profile" section, went to change what I've been seeing as basic black New Times Roman again back to my purple Comic Sans "whatever." Tho' posts have been appearing other than that, it doesn't say this time that it's black/NTR. It already says it's what I'd been using. Hmmm ... now posts are appearing different than what we put in the "preferences" portion. Aren't computers fun!? ;) Yes, actually they are ... just curiously impervious at times to what we tell them to do! :basic05
Side note re finding the font feature when you have to: When first font changed back to basic black, etc, kept looking in "options," figuring that belonged there, as "profile" would, of course, be one's "personal stuff." But, no, font's found not in "options," but "profile." ;)
Now I've a curious question: Wonder what the forum creators were thinking of when deciding that "font options" belonged in the "profile" rather than " options" section? Perhaps because font/color thereof may be a more "personal" thing than how many posts appear on the page, etc? :fav03
Now, I did just "have to" return to say that, after reaffirming in "profile" that it was indeed "purple Comic Sans ..." font/color that I preferred, it's still appearing black NTR in the end. Maybe that option has been turned off for all of us, and it shows up but doesn't really work now, after all? Always curious! ;)
