A very popular man third grade teacher, Larry Babcock, was critically injured in an accident near St. Cloud, Minnesota. His wife was killed in the same accident. According to reports he was in the front passenger seat and she was behind the driver. The driver twisted the steering wheel to the right to avoid a head on collision so that the force of the collision was right behind the driver which killed her and by turning the wheel to the right Larry was critically injured with multiple fractures and internal and head trauma when that side of the car ran into an embankment. The driver and the other passenger behind Larry were hardly hurt. Mrs. Clydene Babcock was a first grade teacher in another school in the Boise system.

For years every summer, Larry has gone back to play piano at a night club in the area and the driver was the night club owner. I helped fold, seal and stamp letters to the parent of the students from the school principal yesterday while waiting for the shuttle lift off.
