To the pastors, the lay people, those who plan prayer meetings, sermons, youth activities, all of it. I just want to thank you, because its not an easy thing and sometimes people don't get thanked for the effort of what they put into things.
I know that ultimately it is God that oversees these things, however if He doesn't have humble servants listening to His direction, we may have some bad results.
The thing that has prompted me to say this, is because I got asked a couple of weeks ago to plan our prayer meeting we had tonight with some other's who have taking our church's prayer class. I enjoyed the research, but the planning and preparation were work and then the worst thing of all.......I got up in front of people and spoke. (that is not like me at all, so you gotta know I love these people).
This experience just reminded me how often I get a lot out of a service or activity and don't thank someone for it (I even forget to thank God sometimes). So, thank you humble servants!
