We rented this one last night with this cool Blockbuster deal that you get a free non-new release with every AMC movie stub. So we turned a disappointing Superbad viewing (it's a raunchy, grotesque comedy with a good moral message for those 18 and under, as opposed to Knocked Up, which was a raunchy, grotesque comedy with a good moral message for adults) into two solid rentals.
Capote (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379725/) tells the story of Truman Capote's behind the scenes actions as he was researching and writing his classic "In Cold Blood." Philip Seymour Hoffman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000450/) played Capote in this film, and deservedly won the Best Actor Oscar for it. He was brilliant, along with the entire supporting cast. It was a really candid portrayal into the psychosis of a very complex man. Hoffman embodied the character and all of his eccentricities with aplomb.
The story does involve a murder case, so there are some gruesome images, but overall, this was a very, very good movie.
